Functional Tics

This section focuses on functional tic-like movements, often referred to as functional tics. These tics can look similar to those seen in Tourette syndrome but have different underlying causes and therapy approaches. Here, you will find resources to help differentiate functional tics from primary tic disorders, as well as information on evidence-based interventions, support strategies, and guidance for families and clinicians.
